Role Overview
This role is part of Cisco’s Silicon One team, where you’ll work on core software systems that power advanced networking hardware. It’s ideal for engineers with solid C++ experience who enjoy working close to systems, performance, and infrastructure-level technologies.
Responsibilities
● Develop core software components for next-generation networking systems
● Work across different layers, from APIs to low-level firmware
● Collaborate with architecture and hardware teams on new product designs
● Solve complex problems related to high-performance infrastructure
● Contribute to building scalable and efficient networking solutions
● Participate in design discussions and system-level decision making
Qualifications & Skills
● B.E or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
● Strong proficiency in C++ programming
● 3+ years of experience in software or embedded systems development
● Understanding of networking concepts and technologies
● Good communication and problem-solving skills
Must-haves
● Strong C++ development experience
● Experience working on system-level or performance-critical software
● Understanding of networking fundamentals
